Handmade All Natural Soap Bar FREE

Christmas anyone?

Our sense of smell can invoke wonderful memories of long gone treasured moments.

Maybe a beautiful Christmas spent with a loved one now gone? Cherished memories of kitchens filled with the beautiful aroma of home cooked goodies made with loving care by a Mum or Grandmother?

It's time for another giveaway and this time I’m giving away one of our brand new "Memories" Luxury Soap Bars as well as this beautiful Christmas ornament, it's really pretty, with gold sequins and gold thread and would look beautiful on a Christmas tree.

All you have to do is to tell me what memory clove, sweet orange or cinnamon brings back for you, by leaving your comment below. Of course you’re going to have to wait till this beautiful new handmade soap has cured and it’s nearly there, only two weeks to go and it will be ready. Competition closes on 11th November, 2009.

“Oh, Christmas is coming and the ducks are getting fat” oh sorry, got a bit carried away! A oldie but a goodie that my children would remember me singing at Christmas and wishing that they didn't:)

Here’s to a wonderful Christmas everyone!

  1. Clove and cinnamon reminds me of my beloved Nana's Apple Pie. For Christmas she used to make us lots of yummy things to eat. Sadly, she passed away many years ago and Christmas Dinners have never been the same.

  3. The sent of cinnamon always makes me think of my mum. She sprinkles cinnamon and sugar on hot buttered toast, not for christmas or anything special, she does it all throughout the year - she loves the stuff!!

  5. It reminds me of the Christmas tree, the smell of pine needles, the smell of cinnamon sticks hanging on the tree and the smell of cloves on oranges.

  6. The scent of cloves, cinnamon and oranges remind me of making pomanders with my mum when I was a child. We used to tie a ribbon around an orange and stick whole cloves into the orange skin, then hang them in our wardrobe. One of the few happy memories I have of my childhood before things went pear-shaped ...

  7. The smell of cinnamon reminds me of my Nanna's sago pudding that I used to have when I was a little girl. She would sprinkle the top with cinnamon & it would smell so yummy. Ahh the memories :)

  11. The smell of cinnamon takes me back to when I was a little girl being taught how to make plum pudding in a cloth bag by my Nana. I thought I was so grown up learning such a hard recipe from a beautiful lady. The smell of the spices, including the cinnamon, was absolutely delicious and of course it tasted amazing to eat!
